Top-up

"RESTART" your credit any way you like!

CU allows you top-up in 5 different ways, even if you are abroad.

  • You can buy a top-up card at a kiosk or any other retailer.
  • If the kiosk gives you an electronic receipt, don’t worry. It is the same as a Vodafone top-up card.
  • At any Vodafone store, asking them to top up with any amount you wish.
  • You can ask a Vodafone contract subscriber to send you credit from his/her fixed monthly account.
  • Even from a bank ATM (only for National Bank, Alpha Bank and Piraeus Bank).
  • You can also top up even if you are abroad.

Tips:

  • You can also buy a top-up card and make a remote top-up from your phone to another Vodafone prepaid subscriber, just by making a free call to 1254.
  • Whatever your chosen method to top-up, there is a 12% VAT fee for every top-up, following a regulation valid since September 2009.

Vodafone top-up cards
  • You can buy Vodafone top-up cards at all kiosks and retailers in Greece, selecting the amount that better covers you. You can choose between cards of 10€, 15€, 20€, and 30€.

  • When you get your card, lightly scratch its surface until the 12-digit code is revealed.
  • Dial 1252 for free from your mobile or 694 440 1252 from any fixed phone or non-Vodafone mobile phone (with extra charge).
  • Follow the instructions to enter the card code and top-up your credit.
Top-up electronic receipts
  • Another way of topping-up your credit is through the top-up electronic receipts that are available in many kiosks and retailers around Greece. You can top-up up to 10€, 15€, 20€ or 30€ .
  • After you buy your top-up receipt, just dial 1252 for free and type in the 12-digit number you see on your receipt.
  • In case you want to make a remote top-up from another Vodafone user’s phone, dial 1254 for free and type in the 12-digit number you see on your receipt.
Top-up through Vodafone stores
  • If you don’t want to buy a card, scratch and enter codes or if you just happen to be passing by a Vodafone store, go inside and tell them your number and the amount of credit you wish to add to your account. You may add any amount you want, from 5€ to 50€, so long as it is an integer number (no decimals). Right afterwards, you will receive an SMS informing you about your successful top-up.
  • Thus, you can both top-up simply and quickly and simultaneously check out the new arrivals in the store… so that you stay updated!
Top-up through ATM
  • You are on the street and you have run out of credit. You cannot see a kiosk but, in the next corner, you can see an ALPHA BANK, a NATIONAL BANK or a PIRAEUS BANK store. Then you have all you need! Because, CU allows you to choose any ALPHA BANK, NATIONAL BANK or PIRAEUS BANK branch and top-up your credit through the ATM, using your bank's cash card.
  • All you have to do is insert your cash card in the ATM and select "Purchasing Credit for a New Vodafone Prepaid Phone". Next, choose the desired amount (15€, 30€ or 60€) and get the receipt with the 12-digit code. Then, just make a free call to 1252 from your mobile phone and top-up your credit as usual.
Remote top-up from other Vodafone users
  • In case you need to top-up your mobile and you cannot buy a recharge card, you can ask your dad, your friends or any other Vodafone contract subscriber to do it for you, by charging his credit.
  • They can send you credit of 10€, 20€, 25€, 30€, 35€, 50€, 70€ or 100€. The amount will be charged to his bill the 1st day of the following month.
  • How can he perform the top-up for you? Simply by calling 1252 for free and following the instructions. Please note, that the instructions are only available in Greek.
Top-up while abroad
  • You want to... transmit your own "virus" abroad, but you must have enough credit to do so! Because, even if you have activated the Vodafone Passport and you talk as if you were in Greece, you will need a top-up at some point. Don't panic! CU allows you to top-up while abroad, with the following ways:
    1. Make a free call to 1253 and follow the instructions.
    2. Send an SMS to 1252 with the text: "Α" (space) and the 12-digit number of the top-up card you bought before you leave Greece. To use this service, you must have enough credit to send an international SMS.
    3. Call +30 6944 40 1254 from your mobile or any other cell phone and follow the instructions. To use this service, you must have enough credit for the international call.
